Starting Phases

Phase One: Origins (2 Aspects) – Describe the circumstances of your birth and early childhood. At least one of the Aspects chosen during this Phase must reflect your culture, country of origin, or social status.

Phase Two: Rites of Passage (2 Aspects) – Describe your journey into adulthood; in particular the events that thrust you into a life of adventure. At least one of the Aspects chosen during this Phase must reflect your archetype, occupation, or profession.

Phase Three: Why the Bards Sing of Me (1 Aspect) – Come up with a title and short summary of an adventure or story involving your character.

Phase Four: Bound to the Church (1 Aspect) – Describe the circumstances regarding how your character found themselves working for the Church. The Aspect chosen must reflect the Celestial which your character follows, or wishes to be more like. If your character is not particularly invested in the Church, have it reflect the Celestial which your character is most like as the Celestial guides your character whether he or she realizes it or not.

A bonus Fate Point will be given at the beginning of the game for any players who include each other during at least one Phase, with a maximum of one bonus Fate Point per player.
